NWJHL weekend preview

Pre-season play continues for teams in the North West Junior Hockey League as they prepare for the 2018-2019 regular season.

Both the Dawson Creek Jr. Canucks and Fort St.John Huskies will continue their exhibition schedule with a pair of games each against Hockey Canada's women's National team Friday and Saturday.

Elsewhere around the league, The JDA County Kings will play a pair of pre-season contests this weekend.

Tonight the club will travel to Spirit River to face the Fairview Flyers, and Saturday they host the North Peace Navigators.

Fairview will also be on the ice Saturday as they travel to Sexsmith to meet the Vipers.

The 2018-2019 NWJHL regular season begins on September 21st.
