Vancouver police say some wigs linked to break and enter have been found
VANCOUVER — A bag of expensive wigs made from human hair has been found on Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside and police say the discovery is related to a recent theft of wigs meant for young cancer patients.
Vancouver police say they were called late Thursday about the bag of wigs spotted in a hotel hallway in the neighbourhood.
Const. Jason Doucette says the person who made the find immediately linked it to media coverage about the recent theft of 150 wigs from Eva and Company, the Vancouver store specializing in synthetic and human-hair wigs.
A statement from the police department says not all of the wigs stolen last Friday have been recovered,
