Storm host Saints in Home Opener

The Grande Prairie Storm return to the friendly confines of Revolution Place tonight as the club gets set to play their home opener.

Grande Prairie is coming off of an opening weekend where they dropped both games in Fort McMurray and only collected one point.

Their opponents this weekend have had a much different start to the campaign.

The defending AJHL Champion Spruce Grove Saints are 3-0 to start the year after a pair of victories over the Lloydminster Bobcats last weekend, and a 5-2 victory against Camrose Tuesday.

Puck drop for Friday night’s game is at 7:30 p.m. from Revolution Place.
