The New York Islanders announced Thursday morning Grande Prairie product and former Storm forward Tanner Fritz will be heading back to the AHL’s Bridgeport Sound Tigers.

Fritz played the first two games of the season with the Islanders, averaging 13:17 of ice team and registered an assist in the team’s 4-3 loss to the Nashville Predators.
However, the Grande Prairie product was scratched in New York’s last game against the San Jose Sharks.
