Witness testimony concludes at Goodridge trial

Nov 1, 2018 | 3:25 PM

Witness testimony has concluded at the Daniel Goodridge murder trial.

The Crown wrapped up its case Thursday afternoon. The defence says it will not call any witnesses.

Final summations will be heard Tuesday. Justice KG Nielsen expects to render a decision next week.

Goodridge faces six charges related to stabbings in June of 2015 at a work camp near Fox Creek.

Two of those people, David Derksen from La Crete and Hally Dubois from Red Deer, died.

Goodridge has pleaded not guilty by reason of mental disorder.
