Grande Prairie moves down list of Canada’s Most Dangerous Places

Grande Prairie continues to move down the list of Canada’s Most Dangerous Places.

According to the article from MACLEAN’S Magazine, the city is ranked *14 out of 237 cities across Canada.

It was just two years ago in 2016 (bases on 2015 stats) when Grande Prairie was top of the list.

North Battleford has been named the most dangerous place in Canada for 2019 followed by Thompson and in third is Wetaskiwin.

The rankings are based on Statistic Canada’s Crime Severity Index where Grande Prairie recorded 563 reports of actual assaults, 37 actual cases of robbery and 375 breaking and entering.
