Kings winning streak snapped in Peace River

The JDA Kings four game winning streak was snapped Wednesday night on the road.

The Kings dropped a 5-2 decision to the 2nd place North Peace Navigators in a contest which saw the Kings allow four goals in the middle frame.

They will look to bounce back and begin a new winning streak Saturday when they host Fairview.

Elsewhere Wednesday evening, the Sundown Oilfield Services Sexsmith Vipers losing streak has been pushed to 8 games.

The Vipers dropped a 5-2 decision to the Fort St.John Huskies.

Sexsmith will have the weekend off and won't be back on the ice until next Wednesday when they visit the Dawson Creek Jr.Canucks.

League play resumes Friday when Fairview visits the Navigators in Peace River.
