Storm looking for bounce back on the road

Dec 7, 2018 | 7:13 AM

The Grande Prairie Storm are back on the road this weekend as they kick off three games in three days Friday night in Camrose.

The Storm are coming off a 6-1 loss last Saturday at home against the Sherwood Park Crusaders, and the club has lost back to back games.

Grande Prairie is 14-15-2 on the season and are tied for 5th in the AJHL’s highly contested North division.

This will be the 2nd time these two teams have collided this season, with the Kodiaks claiming the first meeting 7-3 back in September when the two clubs battled it out at the AJHL Showcase.

Camrose is 15-10-3 and is tied for 4th in the AJHL’s South division with the Okotoks Oilers and Calgary Mustangs.

Face-off for Friday’s contest between the Storm and Kodiaks is at 7:00 p.m.

The Storm will continue the trip Saturday in Olds and wrap it up Sunday in Spruce Grove.
