Kings leap frog Vipers in NWJHL standings

Wyatt Lawrence had a goal and an assist while Will McCreight made 43 saves as the County of Grande Prairie JDA Kings knocked off the Sundown Oilfield Services Sexsmith Vipers 4-2 on Saturday night.
Brent Headon, Cody Friesen and Blake Gillingham also scored for the Kings, who moved past both the Vipers and the Fairview Flyers into fifth place in the NWJHL standings.
Wyatt Collins and Larry Yellowknee replied for the Vipers, who have now lost 11 straight.
One other game in the league last night saw Fort St John move five points clear of North Peace for second place with a 7-3 win over the Navigators,
