Local RCMP looking for armed robbery suspect

RCMP are looking for a suspect who they say stole a vehicle from a young man.

Sunday morning around 9:00, RCMP responded to a report of a vehicle stolen from a youth male in the area of 107 Avenue and 109 Street.

According to police, the youth was getting something out of a parked car when he was approached by a male with a weapon who demanded he hand over the keys.

Thankfully, the young man was not physically injured.

Police believe the suspect may have been involved in other violent incidents and they are actively trying to locate him.

He is described as, male, dark-skinned, with black hair.  He was wearing a grey hoodie with black accents, grey sweatpants, black boots and a black hat.

The stolen vehicle is a red 2013 Honda Civic with the license plate BVZ 2065.
