Athletics search for road win in Fort St. John

This week’s action in the North Peace Hockey League kicks off Thursday night with a pair of games.

The Grande Prairie Athletics will head to Fort St.John for a battle with the Flyers.

Both clubs are coming off wins Saturday night as Grande Prairie obliterated Manning 12-2, and Fort St.John earned a 9-5 win over High Prairie.

Fort St.John currently sits five points back of the Athletics for 2nd place in the NPHL’s West division, while GP is five points back of Dawson Creek for 1st.

Elsewhere Thursday night, the Grimshaw Huskies are in Manning for a meeting with the Comets.
