Police seize guns, cash and approximately $600,000 worth of illegal drugs

A search warrant has led to police finding guns, drugs and over $90-thousand dollars in cash in a Grande Prairie home.

RCMP searched an apartment on the west side of the city on January 8 after receiving information from the public. They found about $600,000 worth of illegal drugs.

Police seized the following items:

  • Approximately 4 kilograms of Crystal Methamphetamine
  • Approximately 2.2 kilograms of Cocaine
  • Approximately 200 grams of heroin
  • Approximately 5500 Oxycodone tablets
  • Approximately 950 Fentanyl tablets
  • $93,880.00 in Canadian currency
  • 2 handguns

Police say the investigation is ongoing and no further details are currently available.
