Mixed results for GP junior hockey teams

The new look Grande Prairie Storm lineup played its first game last night since making four seperate deals on CJHL trade deadline day on Thursday. 

Logan Ganie scored twice and added two assists, as Spruce Grove jumped out to a 3-0 first period lead en route to a 7-2 win over the Storm. 

Zach Webb and Noah Corson scored for the Storm, who will try to bounce back tonight when they visit North division leading Sherwood Park.  

Meanwhile, Louka Richard scored twice, including the winner on a third period power play, as the County of Grande Prairie JDA Kings erased an early 3-1 deficit to defeat Fort St John 7-5 in Northwest Junior Hockey League play.  Tyler Bueckert, Wyatt Lawrence, Nick Miller, Jacob Begin and Blake Gillingham also scored for the Kings, who pulled to with a game of the .500 mark.
