Tough weekend for GPRC teams against U of A Augustana

GPRC volleyball and basketball teams had their struggles this weekend against teams from the University of Alberta at Augustana. 

Volleyball action took place in Grande Prairie, with the GPRC women falling in 5 games on Friday night (25-17, 22-25, 25-21, 14-25, 10-15) and 4 games on Saturday (25-19, 22-25, 22-25, 13-25). 

The men dropped back to back 4 game matches to the Vikings (25-17, 20-25, 12-25, and 18-25 on Friday and 25-19, 9-25, 18-25 and 19-25 on Saturday). 

Basketball tipped off in Camrose between the two schools, with the GPRC men dropping 94-84 and 108-91 results, while the women are still looking for their first win of the season after losses of 95-57 on Friday and 82-54 on Saturday. 

The basketball teams will host Concordia this Friday and Saturday, while the volleyball teams have the weekend off.
