Truck convoys roll in Alberta over the weekend

Rallies in support of the oil and gas industry continued throughout Alberta this weekend.

Organizers of a convoy in Red Deer Saturday say 165 semis and 150 pickup trucks took part, while Energy Minister Marg McCuaig-Boyd was part of a rally in Grimshaw.

The events have been protesting against federal actions that critics say will make building pipelines more difficult.
