Notley says Ottawa should help with costs of getting oil to market

Alberta Premier Rachel Notley says her province has been subjected to decades of inefficiency from both the current and former governments when it comes to market access for oil and gas.
She told reporters in Calgary yesterday that Ottawa should step up and respond to requests for help on things like buying rail cars to transport oil to the coast.
She says there’s one positive so far from the Trudeau government.
Notley says the fact that Ottawa purchased the Trans Mountain pipeline means at least the government has a vested interest in getting it done.
