Jan 15, 2019 | 10:17 AM

The County of Grande Prairie Regional Fire Service was able to save a home from burning in a blaze Sunday.

In a release, the fire department says it was called out from the La Glace fire station to a property near Range Road 94 and Township Road 744 at 10:40 a.m. An outbuilding and single vehicle garage were fully engulfed.

The first crew on scene got the blaze under control with some help from the Beaverlodge and Wembley Fire Departments.

The home did end up with some heat damage to the siding but was OK otherwise. The garage and a shed were destroyed.

No was hurt. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
