Wolves women’s basketball records first win of season

It took them 16 games, but the GPRC Women’s basketball team have their first win of the season. 

Britney Peters had 21 points while Sophie Melin added 16 in a 69-61 victory for the Wolves over Concordia University. 

The game was tied at 46 going into the fourth quarter, when the Wolves outscored Concordia 23-15. 

Concordia took the opening match of the weekend on Friday by a 75-50 score. 

The news was not as good for the GPRC men, as they were swept by Concordia over the weekend, falling 72-68 on Friday and 71-64 on Saturday.
