One day after snapping a four game losing strek, the Sundown Oilfield Services Sexsmith Vipers were looking to start a winning streak in Dawson Creek. 

But the league leading Junior Canucks had other ideas, as they erased a 2-1 second period deficit to edge the Vipers 3-2. 

Elsewhere in the NWJHL last night, North Peace beat Fairview 5-3.

Division leaders met Saturday night in NPHL action as Dawson Creek bested hometown Falher 7-4. 

Other action saw Fort St John beat Grimshaw 5-3, while Taylor Paulovich had five assists to lead Manning to a 10-2 romp over High Prairie.

Ties were the order of the day for GPAC teams on Saturday. 

Chase Jonzon scored twice at the Boston Pizza Minor Midget AAA Storm toed Edmonton United Cycle CAC 3-3. 

And Connor Stojan made 29 saves while Rhys Doyle had the lone gol for the Golden Arrow Bantam AAA Storm in a 1-1 tie with SSAC.
