Death of man outside Edmonton apartment being investigated as a homicide

Police in Edmonton say their homicide section has taken over the investigation of an injured man who was found outside an apartment complex early yesterday.

Police say there were multiple 911 calls about a disturbance in the south-side neighbourhood.

The man was eventually pronounced dead on scene by EMS.

An autopsy has been scheduled for this afternoon.
