For the 3rd win in a row Team West was victorious in the annual CJHL Top Prospects game.

They knocked off Team East 5-2 Tuesday night in Okotoks.

Grande Prairie Storm forward Zachary Okabe was quite noticeable during the game and was awarded for his efforts with an empty net goal to clinch the win for Team West.

The other AJHL players taking part in the game also made a significant impact for Team West.

Luke Bast of the Brooks Bandits had a goal and an assist, Quinn Olson from the Okotoks Oilers had a goal, and both Matthew Davis (Spruce Grove) and Carter Gylander (Sherwood Park) let in one goal each.

Okabe and the Storm return to the ice on Friday night when they welcome Luke Bast and the Brooks Bandits to Revolution Place.

Puck drop is at 7:30 p.m.
