Storm begin three game road swing in Bonnyville

It’s gameday for the Grande Prairie Storm as they hit the road to Bonnyville for a meeting with the Pontiacs.

This will be the 4th meeting of the season between the two North division foes, with Bonnyville claiming the 3 previous meetings.

The Storm are coming off a great weekend at home where they earned four points against the Drayton Valley Thunder.

The pair of wins also helped them improve to 26-23-3 on the season which is good for 5th in the North division.

Grande Prairie is also 5 points behind the Fort McMurray Oil Barons for 4th in the North but have played 1 less game than the Oil Barons.

The Storm’s opponent Tuesday night is also in a battle in the North division standings.

Bonnyville currently sits at the top of the division in 1st place and are 4 points ahead of Sherwood Park.

Face-off between the Storm and the Pontiacs is at 7:30 p.m.

Tuesday night’s contest kicks off a busy stretch for the Storm who play 4 games over the next 7 days.

The club will be in Lloydminster Wednesday, Whitecourt Friday, and host Drayton Valley on the Family Day Monday.
