Second chance to qualify for the Scotties for local curlers

Feb 15, 2019 | 4:30 AM

A couple of Grande Prairie curlers have one final chance to qualify for the Scotties Tournament of Hearts.

Kristie Moore, Cary-Anne McTaggart, and the rest of the Casey Scheidegger rink will take on Kerri Einarson in the wild-card game today in Sydney, Nova Scotia.

That game will start at 4:30 this afternoon MST. The winner will play Yukon in the second draw tomorrow.

Alberta will play Manitoba in the first draw Saturday. Chelsea Carey is skipping Alberta’s representative this year.
