Feb 15, 2019 | 9:44 AM

The GPRC Wolves Basketball and Volleyball teams conclude their 2018-2019 regular season this weekend with a pair of games against TKU.

Both the Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams have been eliminated from playoff contention and will play their final games of the season at home in front of their fans.

Head Coach of the Women’s team Many Botham shares how the club has received amazing fan support all season long.

“We have had tremendous support from the other teams, coaches, students, and faculty. Also, the support of the basketball community and the Peace region.”

The match up against TKU for the Women’s team is also one which Botham has been looking forward to since they met all the way back when the season began.

“We match up pretty well with Kings. We have been looking forward to these games since the first two games of the season. They play a physical game and are great rebounders.”

The Women play TKU Friday night at 6:00 p.m. with the Men to follow up at 8.

The two clubs will meet again on Saturday with the Women playing at 1 and the Men at 3.

The GPRC Volleyball teams meanwhile are out on the road for a pair of games against TKU.

For the Men, this will be their final two games of the season, but there is plenty on the line for the Women.

The GPRC Women’s Volleyball team is 9-13 and are currently clinging to the 4th and final playoff spot in the North.

The Women play Friday evening at 6, and the Men at 8.

The re-match is set for Saturday with the Women playing at 1 and the Men at 3.
