Man pronounced dead in three vehicle collision on Highway 40

A 34-year-old male is dead after a three-vehicle collision on Highway 40 early Sunday morning, as his Jeep collided with two semi-trucks.

Grande Prairie Rural RCMP and emergency crews responded to the accident around 12:15 this morning, which occurred about 20 kilometres south of Grande Prairie near Norboard.

The road has been cleared of the crash, and traffic is moving once again.

RCMP say an investigation is ongoing.

This is the second fatal collision on highway 40 in the last week, as a collison near Archie Way Road left a 64-year-old Saskatchewan man deceased last Saturday.
