Storm look for bounce back performance against Thunder

As the old saying goes “Home is where the heart is” and on Family Day it will be the Grande Prairie Storm returning home to host the Drayton Valley Thunder.

The Storm are coming off a dissapointing 4-2 loss Saturday night in Whitecourt, which wrapped up a 3 game road trip for GP. They finished the trip 1-2.

Monday afternoon’s contest will be the 6th and final meeting of the season between the Storm and Thunder, with the Storm winning the last 3 meetings.

Grande Prairie enters the game with a 27-25-3 record on the year which is good for 5th in the AJHL’s North division.

They are currently 5 points back of the Fort McMurray Oil Barons for 4th.
