Feb 21, 2019 | 11:34 AM

Seven people from the Peace are part of Team Alberta at the Canada Games.

Three of them are athletes; hockey player Brooklyn Tews from Beaverlodge and judoka Michelle Grisales, and snowboarder Kayla Milne, both from Grande Prairie.

All three will compete next week.

The Swan City’s Dave Campbell is the equipment manager for the men’s hockey team.

David Hurta from Grande Prairie is on the Team Alberta mission staff, along with Slave Lake’s Sean McConnel.

Peace River’s Anne-Marie Behnke is an apprentice coach with the figure skating contingent. Competition there also starts next week.

The Canada Games will run until March 3 in Red Deer.
