Red Deer CFR bid details coming next week

Westerner Park, in partnership with the Red Deer and District Chamber of Commerce, is hosting a public event next week to share details of their bid to host the Canadian Finals Rodeo.

The event goes Thursday, November 30 at 4:30 p.m. at the ENMAX Centrium.

DeJong rink wins Red Deer Curling Classic

Grande Prairie's Delia DeJong rink beat Satsuke Fujisawa's rink from Japan 4-2 in seven ends to win the women's final at the Red Deer Curling Classic.

Fujisawa's team made the final at the 2016 World Women's Curling Championship.
