Man dead after single-vehicle crash in MD of Big Lakes

High Prairie RCMP say one person is dead after a single-vehicle crash on Driftpile Road in the MD of Big Lakes Wednesday.

Mounties say they were called out at 8 p.m. after an SUV left the road and struck a tree.

A 34-year-old man, the diver and only person in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.

His name will not be released.
