Expanded clinic in High Level ready to see patients

The newly expanded  Northwest Health Centre in High Level will start seeing patients today (Thursday, October 1). 

Primary Care Alberta says the new clinic has 28 exam rooms, up from seven in the old one. 

Construction started in the spring of 2025. The new clinic was originally scheduled to open in 2027. 

Alberta Health set aside $10.95 million for the project under it Rural Revitalization program. 

A grand opening ceremony is planned for Friday afternoon.
