Local police investigating death

Grande Prairie RCMP say the General Investigation Service and the Edmonton Major Crimes Unit are investigating the death of a female

She died December 16, but details like her age or how she passed away have not been released.

Police say the investigation is continuing. No other details are being released at this time.
