GP romantic and a destination for millennials

Grande Prairie has made it onto a couple of lists this past week.

The city came in 15th on the top 20 Most Romantic Cities in Canada, a drop from last year’s fifth placing.

The Amazon Canada’s rating compares sales of romance novels, romantic comedy movies, relationship books, jewellery and sexual wellness products.

Victoria B.C. took the top spot.

And the Swan City also made it onto Expedia’s ‘Canadian Millennials Recommend Their Favourite Places to Visit in 2018.’

It names the Grant Berg Gallery, Art Gallery of Grande Prairie, the Grande Prairie Live Theatre as well as Fusion Cup as top places to visit.

In a media release, AGGP Executive Director, Jeff Erbach said “We have a national level art gallery in Grande Prairie, and a thriving Arts scene thanks to Grant Berg and GPLT. The next horizon for us is making that consistently known”.
