Fire destroys vacant Peace River home

A release from the Town of Peace River says a fire Saturday completely destroyed a trailer.
 
Firefighters were called to the Cheviot Heights Trailer Park just before Noon.
 
The home was vacant at the time of the blaze.
 
Two neighbouring trailers were damaged, one slightly, the other more severely.
 
The Town says at first, it looked like one of the fire hydrants in the park may not have been working, but a later check found they were all functional.
 
A cause of the fire was not given.
