‘Breaking Bad’ actors will host fundraiser for Puerto Rico
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Two actors from the hit series “Breaking Bad” will host an Albuquerque fundraiser next week for victims of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico.
Bob Odenkirk, who played sleazy lawyer Saul Goodman, is sponsoring a benefit event in Albuquerque where the show was filmed, the actor announced on social media.
“Albuquerque! A benefit event for Puerto Rico — October 23 with my friend Steven Quezada of Breaking Bad. Join in if you can!” Odenkirk said on Twitter, with a picture of the invitation.
Steven Michael Quezada played federal drug enforcement agent Steven Gomez in “Breaking Bad” and is now an elected member of the New Mexico’s Bernalillo County Commission, the regional governing body for the area that includes Albuquerque.
