CAPP to speak at GPRC

Nov 2, 2017 | 10:14 AM

CAPP will be speaking at the college next week.

Chris Montgomery with the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers will give an overview of the current state of the industry.

He will also highlight the labour challenges the industry is facing and why locally newly trained workers will play a key role in the region’s success in the oil and gas sector.

“GPRC knows the importance of the energy sector to our region, our economy and our students. The education and training the College provides is vital to the continued success of the industry so we are pleased to host the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers,” said President and CEO Don Gnatiuk.

The free presentation will be Tuesday, November 7 at 7 p.m. at the Douglas J. Cardinal Performing Arts Centre.
