Total housing starts in Grande Prairie are behind last year’s pace, but there have been more single-family starts in 2017.
Canada Mortgage and Housing says there have been 144 new home starts in Grande Prairie through the end of November this year compared to 105 over the same time last year.
Multiple unit starts have dropped to 46 from 122.
That leaves total starts behind last year’s pace, 190 compared to 227 in 2016.
