Storm fall in high scoring affair

Dec 17, 2017 | 6:37 AM

It was an entertaining hockey game in Drumheller Saturday night between the Dragons and Grande Prairie Storm, but it wasn’t the result which the road team was looking for as they fell 7-5.

Early in the second period the Storm trailed the Dragons 4-0 but were able to claw back and get to within one twice in the third period.

Grande Prairie was also outshot substantially in Saturday night’s loss to the Dragons 50-20.

Justin Bernier had a big night for the Storm notching two goals and one assist in the loss.

The loss drops the Storm to 16-14-3 on the season.

They will look to get back in the win column Sunday afternoon when they conclude the road trip in Camrose.
