Suspect sought in what police call “disturbance at a residence”

Dec 18, 2017 | 9:39 AM

RCMP say they are looking for a man who tried to get into a Grande Prairie home by kicking in the door.

It happened just before 7:30 p.m. December 13 at 88 Street and 113 Avenue.

Police say the man knocked on the front and back doors, then tried to kick a door down. He ran away when he saw the homeowners at the front door.

The suspect is described as a 6’4″ Caucasian man with a medium build and brown hair. He was seen driving away in a pick-up described as a 1999-2002 GMC or Chevrolet with a burned-out right tail light.

Police do not think this home was targeted. Nothing was taken, and no one was hurt.
