UPDATE: New traffic lights WILL NOT be activated today

UPDATE from The City of Grande Prairie: The activation of the newly installed traffic lights at the intersection of 116 Avenue and 105 Street is delayed until Friday afternoon. This due to a minor fault to the backup power supply.

There will also be a north to south crosswalk at this intersection to accommodate pedestrians including students from nearby schools.

Motorists are asked to use caution and watch for pedestrians at this new intersection when it becomes activated.
