Local hockey is winding down for Christmas

The final game of the 2017 portion of the Northwest Junior Hockey League schedule goes tonight in Fairview. The Flyers are home to Beaverlodge. Face-off is at 8 p.m. After tonight, the NWJHL will be off until January 5th.
 
The Grand Prairie Storm and North Peace Hockey Leagues are off until the 29th. The Storm will start a two-game home series against Spruce Grove.
 
In the NPHL December 29th,  Grimshaw will be in Manning. The Comets will visit the Huskies December 30th.
