Attempted abduction in Grande Prairie under investigation

RCMP are investigating an attempted abduction in Grande Prairie.

Police say it happened around 7:10 p.m. Thursday in the downtown area. Two men have been arrested. The woman, who was the victim, has also been taken in on unrelated matters.

RCMP say this was not a random act and all three people were known to each other.

More details are expected to be released tomorrow.
