A Grande Prairie man is facing 15 drug and weapon charges after a search of a vehicle along Highway 43 near Wembley.

Grande Prairie RCMP say they got a call Thursday just after 6:30 p.m. of a suspicious vehicle stopped along the highway.

Police say after talking to the three men inside the vehicle, they did a search and seized more than 105 grams of crack cocaine, close to 118 grams of methamphetamine, almost 18 grams of heroin and $1249.60 cash.

A gun, ammunition, knife and brass knuckles were also seized.

The counts against 40-year-old Steven Brown of Grande Prairie include three each of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and unauthorized possession of a weapon. There are also four counts of possession contrary to a court order.

Brown will stay in custody until appearing in court January 10.
