UPDATE: 116th avenue westbound re-opens after load spills

Grande Prairie RCMP say traffic is moving normally again on 116 Street after some traffic delays westbound, past 100th street.

Around 8:45 this morning, a semi truck lost a piece of heavy equipment that it was carrying onto the road.

Nobody was injured as a result of the accident, which is still under investigation. 

RCMP say charges are pending.
