43-year-old man charged after attempted abduction in Grande Prairie

A 43-year-old High Level man is facing charges after an attempted abduction case in Grande Prairie. 

Mark Gunson is set to appear in Grande Prairie Provincial Court on January 24, 2018, on a charge of assault.

On January 4, RCMP received a complaint of a female being grabbed against her will and forced into a truck in the parking lot of a downtown restaurant. The truck was located shortly after near the hospital and two men were taken into custody. 

The female inside was unharmed, but also take into custody on unrelated matters.
