Scheidegger rink wins Alberta crown

Casey Scheidegger and her rink are provincial champions.

They knocked off the Shannon Kleibrink rink in the championship Sunday night 7-6 in 11 ends.

With the win, Scheidegger’s rink will now represent Alberta at the 2018 Scotties Tournament of Hearts.

The Scotties will begin at the end of the month on January 27th at the South Okanagan Events Centre in Penticton, British Columbia.
