Woman’s body found on the east side of High Prairie

RCMP are investigating after a woman’s body was found this morning on the side of a road in High Prairie.
According to an RCMP release, the deceased female was found in an area “adjacent to a roadway on the east side of town” at approximately 9 a.m. on January 15, 2018. Police found the adult female’s body on the scene.
An autopsy is scheduled for this week at the Chief Medical Examiner’s office in Edmonton.
The investigation is ongoing and RCMP are not providing any more information.
