A 25-year-old is facing multiple charges after a five-month-long investigation.

Grande Prairie RCMP received a complaint of stolen money from Rona in the Gateway Power Centre in August 2017, according to a media release. After investigating, police found that the same person was also a suspect in an unsolved theft from Rycroft Building Supplies in 2012-2013.

Ghislain Dugas of Grande Prairie is facing two counts of theft over $5000 and two counts of fraud over $5000.

Dugas is set to appear in Grande Prairie Provincial Court on January 31, 2018.
