Local police looking for suspects after man robbed and assaulted

Local RCMP are investigating after a man says he was assaulted and robbed.

The incident happened Sunday evening around 7 p.m. in the area of Kateri Drive and 71st Avenue.

The victim told police two males that were travelling in a dark coloured truck demanded his belongings and then assaulted him.

There was an altercation and the victim sustained minor injuries.

Investigators are hoping homeowners with surveillance cameras could help them catch the suspects.
