Wolves fall short against Lakeland

It was a tough weekend for the GPRC Wolves on the court for both Volleyball and basketball against Lakeland College.

The Men’s volleyball team fell 3-1 Friday night and then dropped a 3-2 nailbiter Saturday afternoon.

The Women’s team didn’t fare much better as they dropped both games to Lakeland 3-1.

The basketball teams were both on the road this weekend to face Lakeland.

The Women’s basketball team fell 74-53 Friday night and 81-55 on Saturday.

The Men’s games were much closer as they lost a heartbreaker 87-84 Friday but bounced back with an 82-77 win Saturday.

Basketball action will return to the college next weekend as the Wolves host the University of Augustana for games Friday and Saturday.

The volleyball teams are both on the road.
