Storm eye revenge against MOB

The Grande Prairie Storm return to the ice tonight and tomorrow as they hit the road to Fort McMurray to face the Oil Barons.

Grande Prairie is coming off a 4-3 overtime win last Saturday at Revolution Place against the Olds Grizzlies.

The win improved the Storm’s record to 23-21-3 on the year and gave them a three-point lead on the Sherwood Park Crusaders for 4th in the AJHL North Division.

Fort McMurray, on the other hand, were in action Thursday night where they demolished the Bonnyville Pontiacs 8-2.

The Oil Barons are currently 2nd in the North Division and are looking to chase down the Spruce Grove Saints for first place.

These two clubs last met on January 12th at the Casman Centre in Fort Mac, which saw the Oil Barons walk away with a 5-2 win.

Puck drop for tonight’s game is 7:30 p.m.

The two clubs also meet Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
